Introduction to Paradise Cruises
Paradise Cruises began its journey in 2008 with a vision to create a distinctive luxury cruising experience in Halong Bay, one of Vietnam’s most iconic UNESCO World Heritage destinations.
The foundations of Paradise Cruises were established several years earlier with the development of Tuan Chau Island and its connection to the mainland. This opened the possibility of bringing guests directly to a private pier, helping create a more convenient and exclusive cruise experience in Halong Bay.
From the beginning, Paradise Cruises set out to combine the beauty and traditions of Vietnam with the standards of luxury hospitality found in world-class hotels. The company’s approach focused on elegant vessels, attentive service, Vietnamese cuisine and carefully designed experiences on the bay.
Our Beginning
After several years of planning and collaboration with Vietnamese and international architects, designers and consultants, Paradise Cruises launched its first vessel, Paradise Luxury I, in November 2008. Paradise Luxury II followed in March 2009.
The fleet continued to grow during the following years, introducing additional Paradise Luxury vessels as well as smaller and more intimate boats designed for private and personalized experiences. Paradise Cruises also developed day-cruise vessels to allow visitors to explore Halong Bay without an overnight stay.
A Luxury Cruise Experience
As Paradise Cruises developed, the company continued to expand its onboard and shoreside services. A dedicated café and lounge near the private marina provided guests with a comfortable place to relax before or after their cruise.
In December 2011, Paradise Cruises introduced Paradise Peak, a vessel designed around an even more exclusive concept of luxury cruising. The ship represented the company’s ambition to bring together spacious accommodation, refined design, premium dining and personalized hospitality on the waters of Halong Bay.

Today, Paradise Cruises continues to build on its experience in luxury cruising while developing new ways for guests to experience Halong Bay and the surrounding destinations.
